The Pasadena Soccer Club’s In-House Recreational Program offers a fantastic opportunity for children ages U5 to U10 to learn and enjoy the game of soccer in a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment. Designed to promote skill development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship, the program ensures that every player gets equal playing time. With a focus on age-appropriate instruction, participants build essential skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and understanding basic game concepts—laying a strong foundation for future growth in the sport.

(The Christos Academy style training is designed to introduce players to the basics of soccer in a fun and supportive environment.)

Fall Season: Late August - Late October/Early November

Spring Season: Late March - Late May/Early June

Age groups: U5 (2021). U6 (2020). U7 (2019). U8 (2018). U9/10 (2017+2016).

Schedule:
- U5 - One practice day total per week led by Christos with Volunteer Coach participation

U6 - One practice day total per week led by Christos with Volunteer Coach participation

Games on Friday or Saturday

U7 - Two practice days total per week

1 day academy style led by Christos with Volunteer Coach participation
1 day led by Volunteer Coach

Communication: TeamSnap. All parents need to download the TeamSnap app to communicate with their volunteer coaches.

We always NEED new volunteer coaches for Rec In-House teams. Please consider volunteering to head coach, assist or even help manage a team. No experience necessary. Coaching clinics are offered, and Christos professional trainers will work with the coaches/teams weekly. PSC is a 100% volunteer organization, and without volunteer parents like you stepping up, our children would not be able to play. If you’d like more information on volunteering, please email the Rec Director.

The Pop-Up Shop is located at the Lake Shore Complex at the Blue Garage behind Field A. Address: 850 Woods Rd, Pasadena MD 21122. Uniforms from the PSC Pop Up Shop will be sold prior to the first game of the season. Announcements will be made on the PSC Facebook page regarding Pop Up Shop openings.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

All players need shin guards, cleats & a soccer ball. Cleats are recommended for all ages but are required for ages 6+. Players will also want to wear soccer socks over their shin guards (not under), especially for games. A soccer ball is also required to bring to practice. U5, U6, U7: Size 3. U8 & U9/U10: Size 4.
Many coaching spots are still in need to be filled. The Rec Director is working diligently to complete rosters; however, rosters cannot be finalized without volunteer coaches. Once rosters are completed, coaches will begin reaching out to families.
This is a very busy time, and we appreciate your patience. Please wait until March 22nd to contact PSC if you have not yet heard from your child’s coach.
Practices will begin the week of Monday, March 23rd. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer head coach request and field availability.
Ideally:
- Younger age groups (U5, U6, U7): 5:30-6:30 PM
- Older age groups (U7, U8, U9/U10): 5:30-6:30 PM or 6:30-7:30 PM
Times are dependent on field location and availability.
PSC utilizes several local fields, including:
- Lake Shore Complex Rock Creek Park
- Tick Neck Park Poplar Ridge Park
- MUTH Field (St. Jane) Lake Shore Elementary School
- Bodkin Elementary School
Games begin the weekend of April 11th/12th and will take place each weekend through April, May, and early June. (There may be occasional Friday evening or Sunday games and possibility of weekday games towards the end of season.)
The game schedule will be provided to coaches the week prior to opening weekend (April 11/12). Coaches or team managers will upload schedules into TeamSnap.
NEW Nike Navy and Carolina Blue jerseys are required and are sold at the Pop-Up Shop at Lake Shore Complex - - $40 total for both jerseys.
Players may wear their own shorts and socks of any color (shorts and socks are NOT sold at the Pop-Up Shop).
All Rec In-House uniforms are purchased through our Pop-Up Shop located at Lake Shore Complex, behind Field A in the Blue Garage. The Pop-Up Shop will open at the end of March (date/time TBD).

- 4:00 PM on weekdays
- 7:00 AM on weekends
Field closures will be posted on the Pasadena SC Website and Facebook page. The club will not send separate field closure messages, so please check these platforms.
